Peterborough United Chairman Darragh MacAnthony admitted he was speechless after he was informed that the club had already sold over 5,000 season tickets for the 2009-2010 Championship campaign.
With plenty of savings still to be made by purchasing a season ticket, Darragh MacAnthony has hailed the Peterborough United football club's supporters and has praised their response to the success on the pitch.
'I have been left speechless and amazed at how our supporters have backed the football club once again. You are only as good as your season ticket numbers and to see this massive increase once more is like a breath of fresh air.
'There is no doubt we have excellent supporters. Top fans for a top team! I would like to thank the supporters for the incredible support and I am sure everyone is already looking forward to the start of the season in the Championship,' Darragh MacAnthony told theposh.com.
